At RocBloc Ltd we produce a range of paving products which, we believe, stand in a class of  their own.  What justifies this claim?   After many years of development we can now produce the finest tumbled effect  across all our natural stone paving range.  Our tumbling process mimics the natural wearing of stone in a riverbed.  This produces a soft aged effect which is “natural” in texture and visually very pleasing, presenting the natural stone colours and texture at their best.

Natural Stone Cobbles and Setts.

This picture shows Airedale RocBloc setts being laid on a driveway with 10mm joints prior to vibrating into position followed by jointly.  The blending of stones from different UK quarries gives the RocBloc range, colour, variety, and contrast, unique within the paving market.  The striking appearance is instantly recognizable.  Most people seeking colour variety in paving, source Indian,  Chinese or other imported products.  The use of a blend of indigenous stones in our product range means that you can now use high quality stone from the UK and maintain local distinctiveness.

When, for reasons of local distinctiveness, style, design or taste, a particular stone is required, the Company can source different natural stones from around the UK to match your specific requirements.  This may be red sandstones from the north of the country, Portland stone from the south or other limestones.

Unique to RocBloc paving setts and cobblestones is the “combed” edges of the pavers. This produces a very effective locking system between the individual pavers.

Natural Yorkshire Flagstones.

Genuine Yorkstone tumbled flagstones will add character and value to any property.  Yorkstone has  a worldwide reputation for its strength and durability as a paving stone.  Most sources of Yorkshire Flags are uniform in colour.  Our Wharfedale  flagstones are a blend of stones from different quarries of yorkstone type.  They therefore have unrivalled, yet mellow colour variation within the range.  Combined with the fine tumbled effect, (unique to RocBloc Ltd), they will enhance any layout.  They will also match our RocBloc pavers.  The Wharfedale flagstones are sized so that they can be used in conjunction with the Wharfedale RocBloc without the need for cutting.
